if you liked dont cry for me and you like daniel blacks writing you will like this book it pulls you in from the first page it is told from isaac's point of view from growing up in Missouri and told to suppress his artistic personality by his father he is in chicago at this point and just as he is embracing who he is two crazy things happen the aids crisis breaks out as well as the rodney king attack and he is told by his therapists to write down his story it is amazing
