Table of Contents
Like many other roleplaying games, the world of Terra Ciona has many different paths for characters to take. There are 5 class parents. These parents group classes together that are similar in form and/or function. There are a total of 15 classes. These classes are the broad terms for the members of these circles and their known traits. Each class branches into 3 different subclasses, which each offer proficiencies in 2 skills. Fighter Classes
Fighters live for the thrill of battle.
Barbarian
Traits
Channeled Focus
Those who can channel their focus have trained their mind and body to work in perfect unison, enabling them to enter a state of heightened concentration. While in this diminishing state, all attacks made with a main weapon have advantage.
This state consumes 1 stamina per action.
Primal Sense
Those with a primal sense are known for their ability to tune into their surroundings, using their instincts as a guide. It's said that they can sense powerful beasts or entities nearby.
Gain a +2 to Perception.
Inner Rage
Those with an inner rage can be pushed into a rampant state of fury. While in this state, they are resistant to physical damage and cannot be charmed or frightened.
This state consumes 2 stamina per action.
Subclasses
Brawler
These fighters prefer to get up close and personal with their combat. With a flurry of attacks, their strategy is to overwhelm their opponents with force.
They are proficient in the Athletic & Intimidation skills.
Guerrilla
These fighters know how to turn the tides in battle. Knowing for using their wit to find or use any advantage they can, they make for scrappy opponents.
They are proficient in the Investigation & Perception skills.
Shaman
These brutes are known for their mysterious connections with the wilds and using them to reck havoc on the battlefield.
They are proficient in the Nature & Survival skills.
Warrior
Traits
Battle Ready
Battle ready people are quick to the draw, spending countless hours honing their instincts to a razor's edge. They're always ready to react, whether it's to attack or defend. Those who are battle ready can only be surprised with invisibility or while in dim or darker light.
Gain a +2 to Perception.
Commanding Presence
Those with a commanding presence carry themselves with an undeniable confidence. Their voice, whether roaring in battle, or calming with guidance, can inspire allies or instill fear in enemies. These individuals typically have an advantage in social situations.
Gain a +1 in Charisma.
Ironed Resolve
Those with an ironed resolve have an unyielding will, repeatedly finding strength in the face of overwhelming odds. They draw power from adversity, making them resilient to being frightened, charmed, or knocked prone.
Gain a +2 to Resistance.
Subclasses
Guardian
These fighters stand between their masters and their adversaries, ensuring their safety regardless of their own.
They are proficient in the Resistance & Survival skills.
Soldier
These warriors embrace the battlefield with open arms and closed fists. They fight for their cause as they've been trained to.
They are proficient in the Athletics & Intimidation skills.
Tactician
These observant commanders are good at spotting trouble before it reaches their team, happy to rid their allies of trouble before it starts.
They are proficient in the Investigation & Perception skills.

Guardians live to protect and serve.
Druid
Traits
Primal Sense
Those with Primal Sense are known for their ability to tune into their surroundings, using their instincts as a guide. It's said that they can sense a powerful beast or entity nearby.
Gain a +2 to Perception.
Honed Hearing
Those who have honed their hearing have usually done so for equal parts their survival, and benefit. They can discern the subtle shift of someone's weight on a floorboard, the whispering conversation in the next room, or even the sound of an approaching creature's breath.
Gain a +1 to Perception.
Cuddly Kin
These individuals, whether by design or dedication, have a knack for befriending beasts of all kinds. And in return, they can become a network of eyes and ears, an aid in a fight, or a warm companion by the fire.
Gain a +2 to Animal Handling.
Subclasses
Apothecary
These druids have a knack for using their botany knowledge for crafting potions and tonics capable of both healing and harming.
They are proficient in the Nature & Medicine skills.
Star Gazer
These druids have a passion for the stars and what's beyond them. Fascinated by the cosmos, they channel their powers to aid in their endeavors.
They are proficient in the Religion & Perception skills.
Beast Master
These druids have a deep connection with the wilderness and the creatures that call it home. They often have animal companions traveling by their side.
They are proficient in the Animal Handling & Persuasion skills.
Monk
Traits
Sound Spirit
Those with a sound spirit have learned to channel an inner clarity into an almost tangible force. Their lungs fill just a little deeper, their posture stands just a little taller, and their mind's eye see just a little clearer.
Gain a +1 to Perception.
Battle Ready

Drunken Master
These monks have honed the way of unpredictability in combat. Flowing around their opponents' movements like water, they are masters in adaptive fighting.
They are proficient in the Resistance & Performance skills.
Kensei
Finding the spirit within their weapons, these monks have learned to wield them as companions on the battlefield. They are proficient with one weapon of choice.
They are proficient in the Athletics & Sleight of Hand skills.
Ninja
These monks have mastered the way of the shadows, able to their depths to conceal their movement and strikes.
They are proficient in the Acrobatics & Stealth skills.
Paladin
Traits
Prayer of Repentance
Those with connections to the celestial may pray to them on another's behalf. Seeking to cure disease, or even restore/grant sight or mobility, these prayers are met with the promise of peace. If this outer peace is broken, so will be the peace of the healed.
This prayer consumes 3 mana per cast.
Borrowed Power
Those with otherworldly pacts often possess a borrowed power. They are able to use said power to bolster their own in their own ambitions. Physical strength, arcane prowess. They need only devote themselves.
Gain a +6 to ability checks.
This guidance consumes 1 stamina per action.
Ironed Resolve
Those with an ironed resolve have an unyielding will, repeatedly finding strength in the face of overwhelming odds. They draw power from adversity, making them resilient to being frightened, charmed, or prone.

Subclasses [Oaths]
Protection
These paladins have sworn an oath of protection to either a person, scared place, or holy item. They will fight to the death to protect them from harm or corruption.
They are proficient in the Athletics & Resistance skills.
Truth
These paladins have sworn an oath of truth. Where lies seek to corrupt and control, these holy knights will rise to restore truth and order.
They are proficient in the Insight & Perception skills.
Vengeance
These paladins have sworn an oath of vengeance. Witnessing a great wrong, they have dedicated themselves to seeing those responsible be brought to justice.
They are proficient in the History & Intimidation skills.

Healer Classes
Healers are the first to rush in when seeing a wounded civilian or ally.
Bard
Traits
Healing Hymn
Through harmonized devotion, this attuned healer has learned to channel their divine energy not just through touch, but through song. Their voice may become a vessel of relief, mending wounds and soothing spirits.
Gain a +4 to healing rolls.
This channeling consumes 1 mana per hymn.
Commanding Presence
Those with a commanding presence carry themselves with an undeniable confidence. Their voice, whether roaring in battle, or calming with guidance, can inspire allies or instill fear in enemies. These individuals typically have an advantage in social situations.

Culinary
These bards have mastered the art of expression through food. Connecting to all the avenues that bring those meals to life, they use this passion to heal and empower their comrades.
They are proficient in the Animal Handling & Medicine skills.
Wordsmith
These bards have a blooming passion for lore and storytelling. They use their love of weaving words to lift spirts in allies, sow doubt in enemies, and scribe tales and spells of wonder.
They are proficient in the Deception & Persuasion skills.
Kinetic
These bards have connected to the universal language of movement. Whether it's setting the stage ablaze with their rhythm or flinging themselves between rooftops, you're in for a hard time looking away.
They are proficient in the Acrobatics & Performance skills.
Cleric
Traits
Prayer of Repentance
Those with connections to the celestial may pray to them on another's behalf. Seeking to cure disease, or even restore/grant sight or mobility, these prayers are met with the promise of peace. If this outer peace is broken, so will be the peace of the healed.

Sanctioned Rituals
Those with celestial ties are often gifted the access they require to make contact without the need for sacrificial payment. When in good standing, their callings are welcomed with grace.

Heavenly Body
This body has been sanctioned by a celestial entity. It may not be tainted with demonic possession or the rot of undead.

Forge & War
These clerics have dedicated their lives to the service of their leaders -- taking charge and providing aid on the battlefield.
They are proficient in the History & Intimidation skills.
Life & Light
These clerics have devoted their healing power to preserving life and the light it provides.
They are proficient in the Medicine & Nature skills.
Mystic & Tempest
These clerics have found their calling in the whispering of winds and raging of rivers, channeling nature's power to guide them.
They are proficient in the Arcana & Religion skills.
Seraph
Traits

These seraph feed on the power that stems from raw emotion. They use them to their advantage, twisting their opponents' will against them or empowering their ally's belief in their own strength.
They are proficient in the Deception & Persuasion skills.

Mages are great wielders of magic, far surpassing the capabilities of the average person.
Sorcerer
Traits
Mystic Mentor
This mage gleans their power not from a grimoire or formal academy. Instead, their growth is guided by a powerful, enigmatic being - a celestial, dragon, or spirit. A constant presence in this mage's life, they whisper hints of knowledge, power, and direction.
Gain a +1 to Religion.
Naturally Attuned
Some individuals are blessed to be naturally attuned, possessing an innate connection to the force that flows through all living things, as well as the arcane presence in any item.
Gain a +1 to Arcana.
Subclasses
Elemental
These magi, gifted an affiliation with one or more of the elements, often tend to study those elements, their magic a reflection of that relationship.
They are proficient in the Animal Handling & Nature skills.
Cosmic
These magi have cultivated the power lurking in the cosmos, learning to wield its might through their own magic.
They are proficient in the Arcana & Investigation skills.
Chaotic
These magi thrive on the instability of raw magic. Using the arcane auras in their surroundings, their magic looks a little different every time.
They are proficient in the Intimidation & Deception skills.
Warlock
Traits

Chained
These warlocks were chosen by their patrons to carry out their bidding, in exchange for the power their now wield. It is the burden of the wielder, if they choose, to find salvation from their patron.

Syphoning arcane power from the knowledge they find in spellbooks and the powerful beings that scribed them, wizards are acutely adept at absorbing the knowledge carefully woven within the cryptic glyphs, able to decipher grimoires others cannot.

Conjurer
These wizards have a heightened connection with the realms, using their arcane knowledge to call forth powerful allies.
They are proficient in the Arcana & Intimidation skills.
Illusionist
These wizards are masters at creating magnificent displays of might and magic, striking terror in their foes long before their land their strikes.
They are proficient in the Deception & Performance skills.
Sage
These wizards have found a home in their scrolls and spellbooks, and their wealth of knowledge and known magic reflects that.
They are proficient in the Investigation & History skills.

These rangers are known for their understanding of the wilds. Able to coexist with its harshest of conditions, they are often more at home in a forest than a bustling society.

Rogue

Shadow Dweller
In a world of light and shadow, rogues have mastered the art of becoming one with the darkness. They understand the way darkness clings to walls and deepen under awnings, countless tools to cloak their movements.

Priest
Traits

These priests are known to be nomads, guiding found travelers through treacherous lands and healing those who have been wounded or diseased.
They are proficient in the Nature & Survival skills.
Minister
These priests are looked to for prayer, healing, and as a connection to their deities. Able to foster new connections between gods and their worshippers, they are essential to any monastery.
They are proficient in the Religion & Persuasion skills.
